I want to make a living as a writer.

And that I still build forts.

Spent 11 years in Los Angeles.

Took a lot of screenwriting classes at UCLA.

This is the day I decided to quit my corporate job of nearly nine years--Friday, October 1st, 2010. Detroit airport, post sales meeting. 

The day I decided to leave L.A.

Drove back to my birthplace in the suburbs of Chicago, leaving everything behind, save my clothes and computer.

This is why I did it.

And this is why I did it.

Where I'll end up, I don't know.  But  it will probably be somewhere here.
